me and Patty got bored at her house the other day and decided to write a fan fic ^_^ its a Lily/ James and a London/ Sirius story
Chapter 1:
~Chapter One – Ice Cream and a Book~
Lily and London were shopping for their school supplies. While Lily was looking for a potions book London was just waiting for Lily to finish and go before “they” came. “Lils? Have you found it yet?” London whined.
“Almost” Replied Lily in a huff.
“Well hurry up, I think they might be here any second!” Lily hurried her search frantically
“Ha! Found it. Let’s go!” After Lily paid they headed for the door but an oddly familiar arm blocked their way. Lily and London both let out curse words under their breaths. The oh so familiar arm in the doorway belonged to the notorious Sirius Black. “Sirius, why punish me too? Let me out.” said Lily.
London gave Lily a dirty look as she said that “How about you let me out and take Lily hostage instead?” London pleaded and put a pitiful look on her face.
Sirius chuckled at the both of them “No can do. James wants you here,” he pointed to Lily “And I need to talk to you Kale. Alone.” He gave her a sexy smirk.
At the mention of his name, James walked up to them from behind a bookshelf. “Were you looking for me, Evans, darling? Hey there Kale.” He said smoothly as he put his arm around Lily.
Lily glared at James with a passionate hate “You have exactly two seconds to get your slimy arm off me before my foot slips up and ruins your chances of ever reproducing.”
At that, James looked down at the red high heels she was wearing and moved away quickly “All right Evans, don’t get your knickers in a twist.”
Sirius moved to put his arm around London but she quickly moved. “Too bad prongs, I was really going to miss your future children.”
London rolled her eyes “Both of you need to get over yourselves. I wonder if you guys would even notice if I were faking that I hated you like Lily does.”
Lily gasped a little too loudly “How dare you doubt my hatred? I will always hate both of you.”
“Sure Evans, you keep telling yourself that you hate me and don’t want me.”
Lily lifted her foot up a little “Don’t make me use this!” Again James moved away.
At this Sirius started laughing until Lily glared at him “I’m not afraid to use it on you too.” Sirius acted like he was scared just so he could get closer to London.
London sighed “I’m through with this, and if you haven’t noticed gentlemen. There’s another door. So, see all of you later.”
Sirius followed her “Yeah, we’ll see you guys around.” This time he was actually successful in putting his arm around London’s shoulders. London rolled her eyes but tolerated him.
James grabbed Lily’s arm and she screamed “Don’t leave me!”
London looked back momentarily but simply ignored her attempts to get London to care. “So, you want to go get some ice cream?” Sirius asked her.
"Oh, sure! But Lily has to come with me.” London decided that she would spare Lily just this once.
Sirius sighed “If Lily has to come, James has to come too!” He thought that it was an accurate argument and would change her mind. Unfortunately it didn’t.
“Okay!” London said cheerfully. She did care about James; he was actually a pretty good guy. “You call James over here. He’s your shadow.”
Sirius laughed “Prongs! Bring you girlfriend and come on! We’re getting ice cream!”
Lily’s jaw fell a little. Sirius knew not to call her James’s girlfriend; she ignored it and followed them.
James looked at Lily. He was in shock. Sirius had just said what James thought he said and Lily didn’t do anything. Frankly, he was scared. He slowly followed her making sure he kept a safe distance from her shoes.
~While getting Ice cream~
The ice cream parlor was as festive as ever. The tables and chairs outside were warm and the ice cream was cold. How perfect can the ice cream parlor get? James had pulled Lily the whole way while Sirius took his time on getting there. He still had his arm around London and had tried numerous time to make a move but she quickly avoided everything. How could she do that without being farther away?
James pulled out a chair for Lily “I’ll get the ice cream my, dearest.” Sirius saw what James did and tried the same thing for London but she pulled it out first.
“What kind of Ice cream do you like?” Sirius didn’t say my dearest because, well, that was just a bit to over the top for him.
London thought about it for a second “A double chocolate scoop with one scoop of strawberry shortcake ice cream with an even number of sprinkles, half of it will have hot fudge on it, and the other half will be caramel, and two and a half scoops of low fat whipped cream.” She said quickly.
Sirius thought he took it all in and went to go get it. James came back first. He hadn’t asked what Lily’s favorite ice cream was but he came back with the right kind, exactly how she liked it. “James, I mean Potter! How did you know what to-” He cut her off.
“What guy who is interested with you wouldn’t know what it is?” Lily looked at him weirdly and muttered something under her breath that sounded a bit like ‘stalker’, but started to dig into her ice cream just the same.
Sirius finally came back with London’s ice cream. She took one looked at it “Sirius! You got me the wrong kind!” She stopped and looked up at him. She looked down ashamed; it was a pretty complicated combination. She stood up and kissed Sirius on the cheek “Thank you though. It was very sweet that you tried to keep up with that.”
Sirius watched her walk away to get her ice cream. He sat down, stunned. London had never shown him kindness really. She had always been teasing him. For her to do this actually felt a little weird to him.
Lily was still eating her ice cream slowly. Just to make sure it didn’t have any drugs in it or anything like that. She looked at James and had to force the words she was about to say out of her throat. “Thank you,” she paused and took a breath “James.” She finally let it out. She finally said his first name.
James’s eyes lit up like it was Christmas come early. “No problem,” He finally let her name out “Lily…” It felt like it was just natural to say it. Lily and James, he always thought it sounded right, even though he wouldn’t admit it to anyone because it sounded to sentimental. He took a spoonful of his ice cream and screamed. He had a brain freeze, and it just got worse when Lily laughed.
London came back and sat down by Sirius. She had noticed that Lily and James started to talk like civilized people. “Are they?” She looked at Sirius.
“Yes, Lily and James are finally having a normal conversation. It’s about time, eh?”
London felt a small smile creep onto her face “Yeah, it’s about bloody time!” she laughed. She looked at her ice cream then back up at Sirius. “Should we leave them be and go find something else to do?”
Sirius smiled at her, and not a smirk, a smile. “Yeah, we should. Let’s go.” He left a tip on the table and walked off with London.
“So, where are we going, oh master of the alley?” She asked him as they passed shop after shop. She loved the way Diagon Alley looked. It made her feel at home. Like nothing could hurt her there. Nothing.
Sirius gave her a smirk “We’re going to the sexiest place here,” he stopped in front of a store “The quidditch shop.” He pulled her in.
London let him pull her as she laughed. “Oh, yeah. This is soo sexy!” she said a little too loud and received stares from everybody else. Everybody then realized that she was with Sirius and understood.
Meanwhile back at the ice cream parlor. Lily and James were so entranced in actual conversation that neither noticed that London and Sirius had abandoned them. They had talked for god knows how long, and they were going to do it longer. “I think you’re right Lily. Hey Padfoot? Padfoot?” questioned James when he saw no Sirius. He looked at Lily and saw money on the table. London and Sirius had gone off. James and Lily looked at each other again and nodded. They had decided to go look for them.
